Welcome to the world baby Logan. "A little change of plans" said Logan Saturday night. My mom, Emily and I went shopping Sat. morning and shopped til we dropped (at least me). As we were eating our McDonalds (not the best thing to eat while in labor) at 5:30 I started having some major contractions and they were only 5 minutes apart. Then they went to 3 mintues and I knew I was in labor. So, Patrick and I went to the hospital. We got there I was only dilated at a 2. So, we went walking for an hour. Not fun at all, my contractions we right on top of each other and my dinner was a lovely sight on the hospital floor. But when we got back to my room I was at a 4 and the doctor broke my water. Then I got my wonderful epidural. By the time he was done putting the epidural in I was at a 10 and ready to push. After about an hour and 45 minutes of pushing at 1:39 am Logan Patrick Elwell was in our arms weighing only 6 pounds and 20 inches long. All together I was in labor only 8 hours. All the reason to love my baby boy even more, he was very easy on me. Thank you for all your prayers and support.Wednesday, June 14, 2006

He's on his way
Logan will be here hopefully sometime on Monday, June 12th. At the doctors this week my blood pressure was up again and I was dilated some so the doctor said he can induce on Monday. It's a special day for my family. It was my Papa's birthday, and we found out I was pregnant the day he died. This baby is a wonderful gift from God to help with the loss of a special man. So, please keep Patrick and I in your prayers on Monday. We are so excited. =)

Snow, snow and more snow
We woke up this week with about 3 fresh feet of snow in our drive way, and it still keeps coming. Patrick worked so long and hard to dig us out. I finely made it to work at 2:15 when I was suppose to be there at 9:30...oops. But what can you do. Patrick was only about 45 minutes late. We're still shaking our heads when we look out side our front window.Sunday, February 26, 2006
113 days to go

As Logan grows I'm getting fatter and fatter. He's kicking all the time now. He's kicking so hard you can see it on the outside of my belly. Although we can't tell if it is a hand or foot yet. And of course He's kicking the hardest when I'm trying to sleep at night. I think we have a little soccer player on our hands. His Uncle Trevor should be proud. =) We decided on a middle name...Logan Patrick Elwell. A little of mommy and a little of daddy. A perfect fit for our 1st child.

Due Date
Logan's due date is June 20, 2006. At our last doctors appointment he was measuring three days bigger, but we're not getting our hopes up. His heart beat was good and strong and we're looking forward to our next appointment.
